Why Strategic Consultancies →

Beyond working with locally-rooted organizations, we also engage in consultancy work for organizations that may not necessarily fit our partner criteria but that fundamentally influence the conservation space.

Our consultancy clients have varied from multilateral organizations to large conservation NGOs as well as network organizations with a diverse set of needs and assignments including strategic planning, funding principles, partnership approaches and more.

Our Consulting Services →

Our consultancy efforts are focused on high-value assignments where our engagement has the potential to advance community conservation, support entry into new geographies or explore potential partners. We have over a decade of  experience in organizational development, strategic planning, facilitation, community-centered conservation, building networks and partnerships. We bring all of our experiences and skills into these time-bound assignments.

How We Work →

  1. We are not typical consultants. Our approach is participatory and inclusive - we build proposals and solutions together

  2. We focus on assignments that will advance local conservation leadership, build capacity and agency in local organizations and/or catalyze funding for local organizations.

  3. We often work with external consultants who understand our approach and methodologies.

  4. We do not generally put in bids on tenders.

  5. We do not provide specific training e.g., project management, technical training or facilitate one-off meetings and sessions.
